LACBC Open House - 12/7

Can you believe it's been almost 20 years already?!

For nearly two decades the LACBC's been making the bike life better in LA. From leaning on the city for better mobility plans, bike lanes, safer streets, and better infrastructure, to their own programs encouraging and improving biking in the best city in the world.

We've joined forces with the LACBC a lot. From Operation Firefly, giving free bike lights to riders caught spinning in the dark, to the annual bike counts gathering data to help make the case for better bike planning at city hall, to the annual River Ride raising money and introducing a whole new group of people to the joys of seeing the city from the saddle.

This week, it's time to celebrate. This Thursday is the annual LACBC Open House, and this time we're applauding almost 20 years of awesome advocacy, ardor, and the organization that keeps LA moving.

There'll be food, drink, goodies, music, and fun! Plus, they'll be unveiling the new logo that'll carry the LACBC into their 20th anniversary celebration next year and they'll be raffling off one of our very own bikes, so one lucky rider will be spinning home on some new wheels!

Admission is free for LACBC members (you're a already a member, right?) and membership can be bought at the door in case you missed your chance to sign up at the River Ride, CicLAvia, Draft night, etc....

We can't wait to celebrate with the cool kids at the LACBC and a few hundred of our closest friends. And we'll see you there!
